WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT WAIT FOR LATE ARRIVALS.
The meeting place for your raft trip is located within 4 blocks of exit #239 of Interstate 35. Take the Scanlon Exit #239 (located near mile marker #239) and, whether or not you were traveling from the north or south, take a right off the exit onto Hwy 45 North. Proceed 1 block to the stop light, and turn right onto Hwy 61 East. Proceed another block, make the next right onto Rivergate Avenue, then an immediate left onto the frontage road. We share our parking lot with “THE RIVER INN BAR AND GRILL” on the bank of the river. If you cross over the St. Louis River you’ve gone too far. MORE FRIENDS WANT TO JOIN THE TRIP? Often, once your initial rafting reservations are made, friends decide they would like to join in the fun. NO PROBLEM! As long as we still have space available on your trip you can increase the size of your group by calling our reservation hotline (218) 522-4446 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If you arrive at our meeting place with unreserved additional persons, we may not be able to add them to your group. Don’t risk the frustration – please call us first. We’ll make every effort to accommodate you.

Cannot Be Pregnant:
We do not want you to risk your pregnancy (and wouldn’t want to jeopardize a future rafter).
Must Be At Least 11 Years Of Age:
Don’t get us wrong, we love children (some may say we never outgrew that ourselves). Our experience is that under 11 is too small to effectively paddle and safely maneuver if they should end up in the river (not a goal but it does happen).
Must Be Capable Of Following Directions Given In English:
Although some of us are multi-lingual, it is still important that all participants be able to clearly understand, and quickly respond to, our advice and directions during your trip on the river (Mother Nature only speaks one language– force of gravity pulling mass of water).
Must Arrive Sober And Drug Free:
We simply have to deny participation, without refund, to anyone who is under the influence of any kind of mood altering chemicals, including alcohol, for the safety of all participants.
- Reservations accepted all year either online or by phone.
- Large groups qualify for discounts with a non-refundable deposit of half the total price.
- Balance must be paid before ten business days (two weeks) prior to reserved trip date.
- Payment is non-refundable within 7 days of trip date but we will work with you and your group to reschedule during the same season.
- Individuals & groups may receive full refund if cancelation notice received before 7 days prior to scheduled trip date and at management discretion.
- All groups will receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Please contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
- No-shows will be charged the full price.

- A LARGE TRASH BAG TO USE AS AN IMPROMPTU WIND BREAKER, OR TO STORE WET CLOTHES AFTER YOUR TRIP
- SUNTAN LOTION AND TOWEL
- PLEASE STORE YOUR DRY CHANGE OF CLOTHES, LOTION, TOWEL AND ANY OTHER PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR DURING YOUR TRIP
- A SHIRT WITH SLEEVES (T-SHIRT, etc.) MUST BE WORN UNDER OUR LIFE JACKETS. (NO SKIN CONTACT BETWEEN YOU AND THE LIFE JACKETS OR YOU MAY REGRET THE FRICTION BURN)
